mamemo productions proved its mastery in the creation of powerful events in unusual environments through its pristine execution of the historical inauguration ceremony of Khalifa Port on 12-12-12: A benchmark in history for Abu Dhabi.

Khalifa Port was inaugurated by the UAE President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

5km offshore, in the heart of Khalifa Port, mamemo unveiled a number of “first” innovations, including the region’s first “mega-grandstand”, and the spectacular container ballet.

Another world’s first showcase, “The Tapestry”, a show concept created by mamemo, made up of a massive 80m x 13.5m special feature wall, fitted with 48 larger than life printed banners which were released in precise choreography to match the programmed movements of the automatic stacking cranes inside the terminal area. This performance created a spellbinding fusion of art and mechanics that fully captivated the audience.
