The living earth was the centerpiece as mamemo created an oasis of living plants and flowers for about 1000 guests inside the new Atlantis Ballroom at The Palm Jumeirah during the gala event for the inaugural Green Dubai World Forum 2008, a sustainable development initiative of the Dubai municipality.

mamemo divided the ballroom into 4 zones, each having its own decorative themes. For staging, a 36mx5m semicircular projection screen served as the dynamic background for the program elements and as the highlight of the evening through the Green Dubai Visual Symphony, a leading edge fusion of 3D animation, key messages and images rendered in real time under a Visual Maestro.

Among the highlights of the evening was the virtual groundbreaking of the Solar Technology’s largest photovoltaic manufacturing plant in the region whose countdown was initiated by a touch of Dubai World Chairman HE Sultan bin Sulayem’s palm print on a touch screen plasma television unit before unveiling.
