Named in honor of the Founding Father of the United Arab Emirates, the annual Zayed Future Energy Prize (ZFEP) is the world’s preeminent award that celebrates achievements of impact, innovation and long-term vision in renewable energy and sustainability.
mamemo gained industry acclaim through its breathtaking concept and execution of a number of its awards ceremonies:

INAUGURAL ZAYED FUTURE ENERGY PRIZE (2009)
mamemo created a groundbreaking inaugural Awards ceremony that took audiences across a colorful emotional landscape centered on The Late Sheikh Zayed and his vision for a sustainable future. Central to the concept is a larger than life fusion of images and key messages across a dynamic moving screen setup that transported live performers through different scenarios related to the life and legacy of the Late Leader.

ZAYED FUTURE ENERGY PRIZE 2011
mamemo’s follow up awards ceremony focused on the future, through a uniquely staged show where children dramatically appeared onstage reflecting The Late Sheikh Zayed’s continuing legacy to future generations.

ZAYED FUTURE ENERGY PRIZE 2012
Surpassing its earlier successes, mamemo created a lavish production that included 3 uniquely animated sequences that highlighted the legacy, impact and process of the Prize. Sam Katiela, Managing & Creative Director of mamemo also headed the team across more than 10 locations around the world, from California to the foot of the Himalayas, to document the life and works of the finalist individuals and organizations and show proof of how they reflect the principles of the Prize. Finally, mamemo created the breathtaking show “Light of Unity”, where live musicians appeared inside a dynamic animated scenography that interacted with each beat played before being joined by a group of local drummers, creating a totally inspirational finale.
